Classic Ensemble Vienna at St. Peter's Church - Category 3

St. Peter's Church sits on Petersplatz, just off the Graben in the pedestrianised First District. From St. Stephen's Cathedral it is about a 5-minute walk — head along the Graben and turn into Petersplatz.

The nearest underground station is Stephansplatz (lines U1 and U3), around a 5-minute walk away. Leave the station towards the Graben and follow it to Petersplatz.

The Ringstrasse trams (lines 1, 2 and D) circle the old town. Alight at Schwedenplatz or another Ring stop and walk a few minutes into the centre to reach Petersplatz.

The inner-city hopper bus 1A serves Stephansplatz in the heart of the First District; from there it is a short walk through the lanes to the church.

Vienna's First District is a short-stay parking zone with very limited street parking and restricted traffic. It is easiest to leave the car in a public garage (such as the Am Hof garage) and continue on foot, as Petersplatz itself is pedestrianised.

From Wien Hauptbahnhof or Wien Mitte, take the U-Bahn to Stephansplatz (U1 or U3) and walk the short distance to Petersplatz.
